Towards A Safer, Greener, Cleaner and Close-knit MS Community

Are you a good neighbour?

How do we define a good neighbour?

One who cares for his neighbours and environment? One who jumps over the neighbour's fence to rescue a neighbour in distress or jumping over the fence to take your neighbour's drying clothes off the hanger when it's about to rain?? Some may agree, some may not....

As neighbours it will be great if we observe some basic courtesy and respect for one another:

1. Never fight with your neighbour. You have to wake up every morning to see him.

2. Never put a potted plant at the roadside preventing your neighbour from parking in front of your home ...as long it's not blocking your gate.

3. Never rare a pet which will cause the ire of your neighbour...please check the religious sensitivity too.

4. Please greet your neighbour daily..am/pm and night if possible.

5. Share your cake..baked at home...send fruits to your neighbours whenever you can.

6. Once in a while, step out of you gate and talk to your neighbour.

7. Go for a walk with your neighbour.

8. Get to know the children name and also their vocation..either studying or working.

9. Always ask your neighbour if you want to go marketing...surely we can save and car pool too.

10. Encourage your children to mingle with your neighbour's children.

11. If you can't tolerate your neighbour, please remain calm and composed and not respond in any aggressive manner.

12. You can buy an expensive home, but never can you buy a GOOD NEIGHBOUR.
