The First Meeting of Residents Jalan Margsoa SD10/1-3 was called to order at 5.35pm.

The principal purpose of this meeting was to form a Security Committee to oversee Margosa security for Jalan Margosa SD10/1-3.

4 Discussion on urgent matters.

• Boom Gate M5 closure :- Car Stickers :-
 Proposed Boom Gate M6 will close permanently and pass through without any objection from the residents for security reason.
 Proposed closing of Boom Gate M5 during non peak hours :-
o 6am – 9am
o 11am – 1pm
o 9pm – 6am
 Mr. Shif from 10/1A proposed that Boom Gate M5 to closed at 10.00pm instead of 9.00pm.
 Security committee concern on security verses convenience.
 Mr. Shif objected and stated all residents to give proposal.
 Madam Teh from 10/1D suggest to closed the Boom Gate M5 at 2.00pm due to primary school student return after 1.00pm
 Security guard will be at M5 during peak hours
• Car Stickers :-
 Alan Ong will get it ready before 14th Nov. 2009 for distribution to residents during the round for consent letter signature.
 To give 3 stickers free for all residents participates in this programmed.
 To give 2 stickers free with red color back-ground to non participants.
 To make different stickers with visitors for Kinder Garden visitors.
• Banner on notice of gate closure :- Car Stickers :-
 Boom Gate M5 already in place, Alan Ong will make one more for Boom Gate M4 with in one week.
• Letter of notice on gate closure to Residents Committee at SD Tower & Menara D’sara cc to BSDRA, Balai Polis Komuniti BSD, MBPJ, etc.
 Security committee will write another letter to notify all concern.
• Margosa Security Participation Form.
 All Street Leaders.
• Letter of consent

• Margosa Security Bank Account: Persatuan Penduduk Bandar Sri Damansara (MS)
 Rosalind to coordinates with Karen of RA.
 Mr. Lee – better to be under the umbrella of RA due to legal SDRA with MBPJ
 Mr. Chew – the best will be affiliate with SDRA depends on the respond and commitment of the residents of SD 10/1,2,3. Concern of management of the society, A/C must be properly accounted for, AGM and etc.
 Madam Ng – Suggest to open account with the bank and settle the current issue.
 Mr. Alan Ong – suggest the check to change to cash or maybe to pay the check to security company. ( accounting issue )
 *** Decide in the meeting to be under the umbrella of SDRA and Rosalind, PW Heng will meet up with Karen of SDRA asap. Residents will be notified all residents if there is any issue on MS Bank A/C.
• Infrastructure improvement & enhancement (See location map) – guard post repair, fencing, lighting, etc ( Approximately RM 10,000.00 depends on design )
 To build 2 new Guard Post estimated at RM 4,000.00
 Fencing and lighting approximately RM 6,000.00
To prevent motorcycle to pass through and lighted up the dark spot.
We need sponsors for all this expenses - Street Leader to convince residents during Nov. 14-15 round for letter of consent and car stickers.
 Small Boundary gargen / Jogging track from SD 10 /1 – SD 9 too dark.
- Committee to look into the fencing and lighting depends on funds.
 Fencing on SD 10/1 Boundary with SD 9/5.
- Committee to speak to Mr. Heng Chee Meng SD9/5 to share the cost. ( Tel : 019-6262727 / 016-6622727)

• Street lighting for Jalan Margosa SD10/1-3 to be enhanced
 To convince resident with Tenaga Poll to apply for street light which will cost RM 10.00 per month, MS Committee will assists to apply from Tenaga.
 Mr. lee to contact MBPJ :-
- Trimming of trees.
- Sport light for the playground. ( No. Inventori 242 OU 10/3 )
- Rukun Tetangga ; to build better relationship, financial support.
Need minimum 50 homes to support the scheme.
• Current cost of security guard :-

o 5 guards @ 1600.00 x 5 = RM 8,000.00
o 1 Motorcycle day and night @ 350.00 x 2 = RM 700.00
o
o Total expenses = RM 8,700.00
o Collection = 126 unit x 80.00 = RM 10,080.00
o Balance = RM 1,380.00
o Target – to reduce the monthly subscription :-
- Increase the number of participant
 Reduce the cost of security expenses.
• Matters pertaining to security :-
 All complains can be forwarded to Chairman / Security Committee or Jimmy Lim from the security firm. Tel No.: 012-2232670 / 013-6706133.
 Instruction to the security guard should be from the Chairman and Deputy Chairman in the absence of Chairman and like wise for Secretary.
 Mahmood suggest to have frequency of the guards for checking and rounding of the guard should cut down to 30 minutes interval which agreed by Mr. Jimmy Lim.
 To record in serial number all cars coming in after peak hours.

- Renovation – House owner / Contractor to register their workers name and vehicle numbers.
